James Esparza

Utah native James Esparza grew up in Murray, Utah just a few miles from his current Salt Lake City office.  Educated at the University of Utah and Northwestern University, Mr. Esparza has been serving the injured people and their families in the State of Utah since 1985.  Mr. Esparza is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Utah, as well as The United States Supreme Court.

For most of us, the principles of honesty, integrity, and treating others how we want to be treated are a fundamental part of our lives.  When accidents or injuries are suffered, however, we can find that those responsible or liable don’t operate under these same principles.  Insurance companies typically deny liability for accidents caused by those who they have insured,.

The simple fact is that insurance companies are often willing to pay huge amounts of money to avoid paying money to those who have been injured. Honesty, integrity, and similar principles unfortunately don’t come into play very often.  Instead, these companies operate on a basis that they will make no payout until a case is “proven” beyond a reasonable doubt, which, in practice, usually means that the company won’t pay until right before a trial is to start when it appears highly unlikely that a jury will award damages against the company.

This is where our firm seves clients.  As an attorney in Utah representing the injured for twenty-five years, I know how insurance companies operate, and the painstaking work that must be undertaken in order to “prove” a case and get the appropriate damages for a client.

Our Firm represents clients throughout Utah and the United States, and often our clients our referred to us by other law firms based upon our reputation.  We employ strategic relationships with law firms and a vast network of attorneys, and use state-of-the-art technology to create effective settlement brochures, re-create accidents, and to generate computerized video graphics for courtroom and settlement use.  Our technology also allows us to track every development in every case and always provide our clients with up-to-the-minute status reports.

Our strategic relationships and technology are centered on one aspect – you, our client.  We never forget that you are the reason that our Firm exists.  We provide you with personalized service from the moment your case is accepted, and we keep you up-to-date as your case progresses.

I don’t believe in the large volume, impersonal aspect embraced by other personal injury firms.  Our Firm accepts only the cases in which we believe in.   If you call our Firm, I will be available to speak with you to answer any questions or concerns you may have.  If I’m not available when you call, I will try to call you back later the same day if possible.  You won’t ever feel like your matter is handed off among many attorney or staff members who don’t know your name – this is how we operate.

If you’ve been injured, call me today at 801-272-9100 so that we can talk about your case and about how to get the process started so that we can get you the recovery you deserve.

Why Choose the James Esparza Law Firm?

Our personal injury firm is dedicated to representing those injured in accidents caused by others.

We understand that your life, or the life of a loved one, has been changed due to the actions of another person or company.

Our goal is to get you the full compensation to which you are entitled.

We are not a high volume law firm. In fact, we’ve made a strategic decision to accept fewer cases than in previous years. This strategy allows the Firm’s principal attorney, James Esparza, to directly handle all client matters.

Clients are not delegated to junior associates. Firm clients who call speak directly with Mr. Esparza; if he’s not available, he generally returns client calls later that same day.

If you’ve been injured, call us – we can help. As an experienced personal injury law firm, we’ve helped clients for more than 25 years.

The initial consultation is free. If we agree to handle your case, we’ll work on a contingency fee basis. As a result, you will not owe us anything until we obtain a settlement or award for you.

  • Do I Have A Good Case?

  • The submission of information does not establish an attorney-client relationship. I will call you concerning your matter.
